Dumfries & Galloway Citizens Advice Service
 
Incorporated on the 25th September 1997 
 
The service operates as a company limited by guarantee.
   
D&G CAS, an amalgamation of Dumfriesshire CAB, Castle Douglas and District CAB, Stranraer CAB, Dumfries Welfare Rights, Stranraer Welfare Rights, Nithsdale Housing Advice Service, Upper Nithsdale Welfare Rights and Dumfries & Galloway CAB Benefits Advice Project.
 
The objectives are to ensure that individuals do not suffer through ignorance of their rights and responsibilities, or of the services available, or through an inablity to express their needs effectively, and to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies. 
 
D&G Citizens Advice Service has its Headquarters located
in the same building as
